WE GUARANTEE LIVE ARRIVAL

We will provide great communication through the whole process before shipment and also after shipment making sure the birds have arrived safely. If at anytime you have a death, illness, or unexpected trip plan please communicate with me on this.

We offer a 100% LIVE arrival guarantee on our day olds, started, and/or adult birds. All birds, and eggs are to be held at the post office and to be picked up first thing when available.

For us to offer guarantees on our LIVES we require you to provide documentation such as below.

On a piece of paper have the postmaster indicates number deceased and postmark with stamp date from the post office. No exceptions. If you want to send photos that is fine, but you have to have the note from the postmaster the day of pick up.

Disclaimer: As with all baby chicks we send an extra one in the event of a death during shipment. We have a very limited time to observe chicks so therefore we are not 100% sure all are thriving at the time shipment occurs. Chicks that have a hard time getting out of a shell can be depleted of oxygen and on a rare case we might have one chick out of 100 that might be affected and unable to walk.

(please visit chick care tips as too high of protein can cause leg problems- we recommend 18% only till 6 months of age then switch to 16% protein)

- You fried your chicks by too hot or too cold temps. It has taken me five years to talk about this but feel a need to discuss it for the best outcome for my chicks and for the new chick owners. The individual does not have the internet to see this.....

I had a customer that called and said all baby chicks were alive upon arrival and 30 min later called to say all were dead except for 4) I was heartbroken. I Called them and said to put thermometer at the level of chicks and I would stay on the phone and after 10 min the temp registered 108 degrees. I was so sad. Please educate yourself before purchasing and visit our CHICK CARE page for some tips. Our chicks come out of an incubator temperature of 99.5 to 100 degrees. As chicks get older one decreases temp gradually,

THERE IS TOO MUCH JUNK BEING PRODUCED OUT THERE AND WE DO NOT WANT ANY PART OF IT. TOO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE SAY THEY HAVE SO AND SO'S BIRDS AND LET ME JUST SAY IT IS NOT THE SAME UNLESS YOU PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM THE SOURCE ITSELF !!!!! WHILE A BREEDER USES THE APA STANDARDS AS AN AIDE IN SELECTION OF FUTURE BREEDERS .........EACH OF US AS BREEDERS ESTABLISH OUR OWN STANDARDS........AS WE KNOW SOME BREEDERS HAVE HIGHER STANDARDS THAN OTHERS. This is what establishes the quality produced by good breeders and the qualities of those that have lower standards producing QUANTITY OVER QUALITY and by producing numerous types of breeds. We breed only QUALITY splash, blacks, and nicely laced blue Jersey Giants with exceptionally nice lacing! Please note that our baby chicks come from quality BREEDER AND APA Quality birds, however with this being said we can not guarantee "Show" birds. Expect to have possible pet, breeder, and our APA show bird types just as the case if you are raising any other species. Some birds will turn out nicer than others.
